on my own!

so brennan left today at 8:45 am for the next 5 days to go to az and get our house painted and put new carpet in. lucky for us our renters were smokers with 2 dogs, so hopefully after gutting the place out, it will feel nice and new and refreshing! i've been racking my brain for the past month trying to figure out what colors to put where and i'm crossing my fingers that it's all gonna look good! i'm kinda nervous. thanks to benjamin moore paint colors though, i'm hoping it's all gonna be great. anyway, back to bren going to az. i took carter and savanna to the beach and my friend sherri met me down there with her two kids for a little while. the weather was absolutely gorgeous! the waves were beautiful and blue and the sky was clear and a beautiful shade of blue too! we were hanging out and i got a call from bren that his a/c had stopped working a half hour outside of blythe! bummer. then it started to work a while later and it started to overheat. so he ended up driving in over 100 degree weather with the heat on full blast! it's kinda funny for me to picture, but i'm sure it sucked big time for you honey! as for me and the kids today has been a really great day! i've had lots of energy (thanks to savanna sleeping better) and carter has been awesome. we'll see how i'm feeling come saturday, but i'm feeling optimistic!
