bonfire!

we thought it would be way fun to have a few bonfires before we move to az, so last night was our first one in 4 years of living here! that is so sad. it seems sometimes when you live somewhere you don't do all the fun things that your state has to offer. therefore, ca has the beach! anyway, we had it at corona del mar, a beach we have had bonfires at since i was knee high to a grass hopper (nasty phrase), but it's fun mems and way good times. we roosted hot dogs and mallo's and ate yummy potato salad, and a bunch of munchie type stuff. the weather was great and there was a beautiful sunset. we also saw seals really close in the water, so that was pretty cool. the scene was beautiful! we are definetly gonna do one again soon! we just need to pick a date. and note to self: next time we need a table (so much easier than kneeling in the sand for everything) and eric needs to bring his guitar! other than that we were set! i'm glad everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!
savanna and brennan. it was savanna's first bonfire!
cute ava was just going to town eating her socks! it was so cute.
everyone just having a grand ole time!
lucy and carter were just loving getting all sandy. carter especially was loving rolling in it and just laying in it! funny kid.
we were looking for seals (i'm obviously exaggerating my excitement!) this is where the seals were chillin. if you look to the left the seal has his belly up from the water.
i love this pic of our family watching the sunset! precious moments!
eric, laura, and ava were the last to leave! this was laura's first time ever having a bonfire and cute little ava's too. she was such a good baby!

oh my gosh. . . You need to frame that pic. of your family with the sunset in the back. I love that we are both moving to Az. at the same time. We are trying to do all the fun stuff in Utah before we head out to the heat, too! My husband is fishing as we speak up the canyon river. There is nothing more fun than a bonfire!
