today was day three of being all on my own and the day went great. yesterday was a little more frustrating because carter wouldn't nap and then putting him to bed was crazy, so today we went up to rsm to go to the beach club. my dad and karen have lived there for almost 11 years and this is the first time i've been. it's so great and it's PERFECT for kids. it was about 90 degrees up there so we definetly were feeling the rays, but it was so nice and relaxing. laura and i drove up with our kids and met up with camille, jeremy, dana, lucy, and karen. it's this big lake type pool with sand surrounding all the edges. it's very shallow and none threating, so carter was just having a blast! he literally was in the water for 3 1/2 hours. he came in to get a piece of watermelon every so often, but he just loved it. ava was loving it too. she wanted to hang out in it forever, but she had to eat and take a little nap. jeremy was having a blast too kickin it in the water and playing with the "mud". dana had to leave early because lucy was just charging thru the water like it was nothing! it was so cute! and all us girls were just chatting and enjoying watching our kids. savanna slept most of the time, but she was awake for a little while and so i had to take pics of her in her super cute swim suit! fun times. we already have plans to go again next week!
tonight i got a sitter for carter and me and savanna went to chilli's with eric, laura, and ava and met up with our good friend from provo dave e and our friend "hoke" came too. it was fun. chilli's always brings back good mems of living in ptown and getting together with our friends there. we sat and chatted for a couple of hours and it was fun to hear him just ramble on how he does about single life! sad i didn't take any pics, but next time. so anyway, today was great and i talked to bren and everything with our house sounds like it's coming along. the paint is all done and the carpet is being put in tom and sat. i'll put pics up when he gets back! woooohooo!
