gavin is 1!

on aug, 26th gavin turned 1!  really a year has gone by!  what the heck!  can't believe it.  he is such a sweet happy boy and we love having him in our home.  he is SO big.  he's starting to take a few steps, but not ready to walk.  today.  we still use the car seat carrier from time to time and it's a joke how big he is for it, but yesterday he slept in it at church for almost 2 hours!  we really are gonna retire it.  soon.

for gavin's bday we got pizza and i made a cupcake/cake that looks more like a ghetto gingerbread house, but he didn't seem to care!

he was a bit too entranced w/ the fire and wanted to touch it.  we lit it over and over so the kids could blow it out

on sunday, we had some friends over for a bbq and some celebrating, gotta have a pinata

this cake took 1/4 of the time as the first and looks way cuter

loving everyone sing to him, he is such a happy baby!  we are SO lucky!
