i stole this paragraph below off kari's blog and just felt that it was so inspired of what was about to come. she wrote this a couple of weeks ago before their cruise w/ just bree and justin's side of the family. before they found out about the cancer. it's just an honest account of how much she loves her family! cook family we love you and our prayers are w/ you guys and your sweet baby bree!
Yesterday was just one of those moments in time where I loved being together with my family and truly wanting to freeze time just so that I could look at each of my children's faces and memorize them before they grow up on me. I know life goes so fast and there are some days when I cant wait for the day to be over and to have a moment to myself, but I know this will pass me by in a flash if I dont appreciate the little moments. So, here's to our little family...enjoying the here and now, relishing the sweet times and loving each moment!

I read about this through my neighbors blog. It is amazing how connected you guys aall are.
This is so sad. I can not even imagine how someone can sit and helplessly watch their child have to go through such an awful experience!
I am amazed by your strength as well! I wish you guys many prayers for her!
We experienced the same feelings when our good friend's daughter was diagnosed with cancer. It puts our priorities real quick when you see how our lives can change in an instant.
K. You have me crying-again.
I believe in miracles!
awe. poor baby and family! so sad. you're right though about trials. best wishes to your friends. we'll keep them in our prayers. love ya!
It is so hard to see a child suffer.
Miracles do happen. One of my best friend's little girls had neuroblastoma and she is well and happy now, just as a little girl should be.
Must stop crying -- it doesn't go well with Trick-or-Treating. Add our thoughts and prayers to yours.
What a sad thing to hear.
I'm so sorry for your friends heartache. It really hits home when it's someone who's close to you. I'm sure she appreciates your friendship now more than ever. You're such a positive and uplifting person.
btw, she totally looks like Gwen Stefani in that picture.
I have seen many miracles and know the power of prayer...I also know that the Lord knows all and can comfort those who are experiencing major trials. What a beautiful child! I will keep this family in my daily prayers.
Thank you for posting this Rae. You are such a great friend. Love you
