soccer, girls night, nursery, & a bday!

the weekend always goes by in two seconds! it seems like it just gets busier and busier! anyway, carter had his 2nd soccer game yesterday and they played the fire birds. lots and lots of goals were scored by the sharks, so that was fun (carter was not as amused as last week). i'm hoping w/ a visit from gma clark next weekend he might want to show off his skills again! bren is really enjoying being coach and does a good job of making it fun for the kids.

sat night we went to the women's broadcast and to celebrate kari's bday we went to oregano's for dinner. yummy. and an fyi if it's your bday the cookie treat is FREE! nice! it was fun to get out w/ the girls and no kids (even though we love them).

karis heard that brooke white was playing a free show in mesa, so after dinner we booked it over there to check it out. we got there at the end of her last song, but i was still able to go up and snap a shot. she really is so cute.

savanna rae is officially 18 months old and had her first day of nursery at church! i was a little sad, but it's fun that she's growing up and now i can pay attention at church. the cutest part was that carter held her hand and walked her into her class and said "bye sister". it was so sweet! he really is such a good big brother! the other day we had a tender moment, carter, savanna, and i were all laying down in carter's bed and savanna was in the middle and she just looked at me like she trusts me and loves me more than anything (you had to be there to really understand). it was really sweet and it gets me teary eyed thinking about my love for this special little girl!

today is my dad's 55th bday! happy bday pops. i'm so thankful to have you for my dad. thanks for the good example you set for me. wish we could be in ca to celebrate w/ you! we love you! hope you have a good one!

The cutest part about Savanna going to nursery is that Carter held her hand and walked her into nursery, hugged her, and said "Bye Sister!". We all love Savanna very much.

Happy Birthday Rich! Man you're OLD! (just kidding) Rachael you look so good. I love reading about how much you are loving being Mom! I can totally relate. I have been and am living my dream life for the past 21 years! Nothing unfulfilled for me! Except maybe that last baby I lost a few months ago. Still sad. Love you so much.

Oh Savanna! I love her. She is so cute and BEAUTIFUL. You know, some kids are just cute...but she's cute and seriously, so pretty. She's looking so old already. More like a little girl than a baby. How exciting that she's in nursery.
Fun that you went to see Brooke White.

I love my fam but getting away every once in a while is so nice! Can't believe Savvy is already 18 mos. I remember when I first met you she was barely 6 months. Time flies too fast!
