sytycd taping!

so we are back from our quick trip to ca and we literally had sooooo much fun at the sytycd taping! (bren also had a seminar that weekend, but that's beside the point). we put in a request for tickets about 8 weeks ago, so everyday i've been anxiously awaiting an email back and so a couple thurs ago, bren, me, and laura all got our email for tix! we signed up for an all day affair (laura was only able to get the afternoon option). so we left for ca a couple days early and karen watched the kids for us and meredith, camille, and julie b came along! we drove in the night before and didn't get to bed till 2am and then up at 4! crazy how the body kicks into high gear w/ no sleep. we got to the studio at 715am to be there watching the performances over and over and over and over (you get the point). they don't just do a dance and then they are done it's crazy! the studio is super small and between takes the hair and makeup people came out every time. it was fun to see all the behind the scenes. i've got to give them MAJOR props for all the work they put into their dances! we were super sad to see kherrington and gev go! but i have a new love for courtney (she is sooo cute and nice). so i guess we just have to wait and see! here are some pics to enjoy. p.s. we totally were on tv too (it was worth STANDING in the studio for over 7 hrs)! sooooo FUN!

we picked up julie at 530 and got a quick breakfast from starbucks! (thankfully we were almost gonna pass out from standing for 5 hours in the morning taping)!

after the morning taping we got a couple hour break, so we went to cheesecake factory at the grove. yum!

victoria beckham slash posh spice! i was FREAKIN out, hitting bren to get me the camera! it was soooo fun! and i swear i was the only one wippin out the cam. the bald guy was major staring at me, but i got my pics!

she was so cute just strolling down the street holding her son's hand!

sadly laura, eric, josh, and sherri didn't make it into the afternoon taping! the line was crazy long, but they might get a chance to go back! sorry guys we missed you in there!

as we were driving home from hwood, we were getting some texts and calls saying they saw us on tv! wooohooo. so when we got back to rancho we had a party and stopped and paused to see us all on tv! the perfect day! here is mere right next to cat! they told her if she looked at the camera again they'd kick her off the stage, so funny!

we totally had the best spot! right in front and we were able to see everything! love love loved it! such the funnest day! thanks everyone for coming and karen for watching the kids! now we gotta go to a.i.!

mere's last day at golden spoon! we all went in to visit and hooked up w/ 100% discount makes it even better! (thanks dad)!

i didn't take many pics the rest of the trip, but this was too cute. savanna and carter took a mini bath together in the laundry room sink. such cute brother and sister!
