it's so exciting our church received a new prophet today! president thomas s. monson and he called his counselors to be henry b. eyring (i got to shake his hand at my ricks graduation) and dieter f. uchtdorf. i'm way stoked on our new presidency. i must say when i was a little kid the only time i would start to listen was when thomas s. monson spoke because he didn't look a "million years old" and didn't have grey hair! he always has the best stories and really relates to us! i can't wait for conf in april to come and hear our new presidency speak. our prayers are with them as they strive to fulfill the callings for our church!

This is a very special day for the Church isn't it! I was excited to hear the announcement and feel so blessed to have a wonderful and inspired leader! I can't wait for conference either!
very true he still looks relatively young. I couldn't believe it when I read he's 80! Crazy...I told Patricia about your comment and she and I would love to have lunch with you anytime! Let us know when you're in town :o)
I totally agree, I would love his stories always great parables. I only remembered his name when I was little. Im excited for conference.
