last night we were getting ready for bed and i quickly checked my email to find out that our latter day saint prophet gordon b. hinckley had passed away yesterday evening w/ his family around him. i was instantly sad and bren and i layed in bed w/ me crying and him rubbing my back. i'm tearing up right now as i type. i know he lived a long and WONDERFUL life, but i feel sad for loosing such a great man and someone who i always was excited to hear from at any conference or whatever! he is just such a sweet person that you can't help but smile when you see his face. bren and i were talking last night also about how he's the one that's been our prophet thru big mile stones in our lives and it just causes us to reflect. i'm excited for our new prophet and everything too, but our dear prophet gordon b. hinckley will be truly missed and never forgotten! i'm so happy that he gets to be w/ his dear wife again :)!
