phx zoo!
on monday we decided to do something fun, so we drove to phx and went to the zoo. it was about 107* outside, so it was like our own private zoo. it was super fun! they have so many cool animals. we saw rhinos, lions, a tiger, cheetah, baboons, zebra, and giraffes to name a few. they also had this cool caged area where these cute little monkeys are free and they were just jumping everywhere all around you. it was way cool! carter and savanna were just glued to the monkeys. to cool off for a bit we found some shade and had our picknick lunches and carter ran thru the little splash pad they had. anyway, we had a great time and ended up getting season passes because it was so fun and carter already wants to go back!

I've actually been to that zoo before and it is really fun (way better than the LA zoo). And yea, we saw those fun monkeys! It's cool having them jump all around you. Great for kids. Glad you braved the 107 degree weather.
that's awesome your not letting the weather slow you down. that does sound like a fun zoo....the Hogle Zoo here in Utah is pretty lame.
