i know it's sad to say that he was 3 1/2 years old and still sucking on a binky (only for naps and bed), but seriously too old! and his bottom teeth show it's bad news! anyway, his cousin delilah has the same binky, so we came up w/ the idea to give them away to baby delilah! and it worked! he only asked about them once and never again. sad part for me is NO more naps! bummer! but yeah carter your such a big boy!
savanna was sick w/ mild pneumonia and on a breathing machine, but she's been doing good for a few days and we are hopefull that the pneumonia won't come back anytime soon! it was seriously stressful for a bit, but we are happy she's healthy now!
a few weeks ago carter started primary! hooray! or so i thought. the first sunday i was in tears because we dropped him off w/ no one else in his class yet and no teacher to be found! luckily i went to check on him a few minutes later and he had a teacher and his friend anna was sitting by him. phew. but the next week carter wouldn't even go in and this past sunday he cried for a few minutes and then worked it out! so hopefully he'll get used to the new routine and really enjoy primary! and come home one day singing "jesus wants me for a sunbeam" at the top of his lungs! a mom can dream.....
since we'd been sick we celebrated my bday this past week and had a girls night out! yeah! i so needed one! we went to chili's and saw bride wars. it was SO great to get out! thanks guys! i had fun!
on sat night me and bren finally got to go out on a date to oregano's my fav spot and since it was my bday we got the bomb cookie ice cream dealio! yummy!
we had some friends and fam over for dinner on sunday for some more bday celebrating!
and in case anyone was wondering YES i did get rockband for my bday! it's been a hit! i love being a rock star (or pretending to be one:)! thanks for all the bday well wishes, emails, calls, cards, treats, $, everything. it was a nice bday month!

yeah! I am so excited you got rockband! And I am glad Savanna is okay. Makenna goes into nursery next week, and seems to feel the same way about it that Carter does primary.
Sorry you have all been so sick! And Savanna?! Yes, that would be very stressful/scary. I really stress when the kids are sick. Mostly b/c you just don't know what's going on in their little bodies and they can't tell you.

I'm wrestling with starting potty training. We have the potty and the panties...and all Lucy's friends have done it this week. Ugh, maybe I need to jump on board. It's harder on mom than it is on them! :)

The beach was so fun. Thanks for your help. It was cold and rainy the day we went but it was still so fun to finally know where to go for the beach. The kids loved it AND lunch at Ruby's. Love ya.

Our RB hasn't had as many hours logged in since everyone left, but we're still playing it. Our pedal actually broke, so no drums right now. Such a bummer. Cute that Carter's in primary! I'm so glad that you are getting healthier and having some good times. I sucked my third finger until I was 8 years old. I quit one day (after putting nasty tasting stuff on it,tied on socks and nothing worked)...I just decided I was through - took one last suck and it was over. I am glad Savanna is better and that you could have some birthday celebrations. Cute pictures!!! You all look like you are having fun!
