weekend highlights

this weekend has been crazy busy, but fun at the same time! i along w/ i'm sure a BIG population of girls went to see twilight fri night. a friend in our ward put together a group to see the show, so i think we had about 20 of us lined up an hour and a half early for what we thought would be jammed packed. not so much, but we still were the first to get good seats. i actually didn't hate it. i didn't expect anything, so i could say i was pleasantly surprised, but everyone i went w/ pretty much didn't feel it at all. oh well it was a night out w/o the kids and some fun convo along the way! and it made me like edward a little more.

k so now that we have a house i felt like it's time to put lights up! i don't think we've had christmas lights at my dad's house for like 10 years! so i was all about it this year. i know it might be a bit early, but i know december will go by so fast i wanted to do it now! here i am putting up the lights! it was a bit of an ordeal and my fingers kill from the stucco on the house, but it was totally worth it! thanks babe for helping make it happen!

ooooh la la!

not the best pic of anyone, but i love the kids faces and it's the whole fam

other weekend things:
carter had his final soccer game! kinda excited to have saturday's back!
i'm the new laurel yw advisor and taught my first lesson
savvy turned 20 months old
we had a mock thanksgiving dinner of ham, potatoes, rolls, etc
i seriously LOVE this time of year!

Look at those muscles in your arm!! You go girl. We have to wait for someone to come do our lights. No way would we be getting 25 feet up in the air like that.... So I will get to put my picture up Friday......

But I do have three Christmas trees up right now!!!!

Not a Twilight person but I have heard exactly what you posted by everyone...

Happy Turkey Day to you and your family!

Your Christmas lights are GREAT! How fun! And hooray for the Christmas spirit (our parents are so bah humbug for never putting lights up).
So cool that you were called as the Laurel adviser. You are going to be so wonderful! It's fun being with the girls again and totally makes me appreciate what my leaders did for us back in the day.

keep counting.....
