we met up w/ shannan and her kids at the tempe splash park today and it was super fun! it's not your typical splash pad. there are a couple little slides, water gun type things, a little kiddie area, and just flowing water all over. it was great and best of all FREE. the kids had a ton of fun w/ a few hysterics here and there, but it was a great way to spend a 113 degree day! yeah, that's no typo it's literally 113 degrees and that looks to be the forecast for who knows how long. we were talking today that we didn't even get eased into this crazy heat one day it was do-able in the 90's and now it's just really freakin hot. i know it's not original to complain about the heat in az, but it makes having some trips to cali all the more exciting! can't wait to leave on friday! wooohooo!

savanna finally realized it's more fun to play in the water and i think she drank a gallon of this super "clean" water. all in all fun times! we need to go again soon :)!

It's only 93˙ here and that park looks divine! Of course, I'm always hot what with the "oven" going and all. And yes, I am SOOOOO ready to be done! 6 more weeks max... hooray!
