first annual christmas dinner!

since we are going to ut for christmas, we wanted to do a little christmas dinner at our house before we left. so we had the smith fam over (minus marty & add megan) for dinner and kept it low key. brennan cooked the ham and it was about the yummiest i've ever had (and i normally only like chicken). and i literally spent all day making bread (the braided bread). no wonder why cindy doesn't make it every sunday! but it was tasty and karis brought a salad and the best homemade strawberry jam :)! so yeah for our first annual christmas dinner and for many more to come! isn't it great being a grown up!

on a side note, we finally got callings on sunday and i'm actually SUPER stoked. bren and i are going to be team sunday school teachers for the 15-16 year olds. i've seriously always wanted to work w/ the youth so i'm way excited slash nervous! we start in the new year, so wish us luck :)!

Yea, I guess it is great being a grown-up...most of the time. It's just the clean up after all the fun that spoils the fun! :)
