our new little pool
so today was a hot one and being that it was 6pm and still 113 degrees outside we decided to finally blow up our little pool. brennan borrowed the smiths compresser (otherwise it would of taken days w/ a bike pump) and it still took an hour or so to blow it up. anyway, boring details, but it was so fun. we chilled in it for about 2 hrs or so. i have to admit though with having the water on the BUGS were coming out everywhere! ahhhhhh! it was seriously aracnaphobia statis. i even had to kill a BLACK WIDOW and a COCKROACH! and i'm a freak when it comes to bugs, but when it comes to protecting my kids i got to step it up. so i was able to enjoy it after they were dead, but seriously! we just set up our pest control today too, so hopefully they will all being dying here shortly. k long side note, but it was a good way to beat the heat. about 15 minutes after getting out we had a black out for a while w/ thunder and lightning and carter was pretty freaked out, so we tried to make it fun by lighting candles and he kept singing the happy bday song. then bren and carter sat on the couch and watched the lightning. i took the pic in pure dark, but you would think it was as bright as day w/ the flash on.

Ahhh! 113 at 6pm can't wait to get back. Please make it cool by Sept 25th, ok? Thanks! And BTW 1 hr to blow up the pool that is one frickin mother of a pool.
Oh that looks like so much fun! I love a little kiddie pool! I'm too scared to have a real pool!
Great pool! Maybe we'll get to try it out while we're there. And wowzers....113 at 6pm. Can't wait!
Cute pool! I can't believe it took that long to blow up, though! You are never going to want to deflate it! Doesn't AZ have the craziest lightening/thunderstorms! I used to love them as a kid...they scared me a bit, but I mostly loved them! Hope it cools down soon for you!!
I proud of you for killing a black widow and a cocroach. I've tried to kill a black widow once. It got away. good for you.
Love
