aloha!

we got the hook up from b's parents for a week stay at any marriott, we just needed to pay to get there.  so since our 10 yr was coming up we decided to go to maui.  we love the resort there and loved having some time away from work, schedules, and kids.  we hadn't had a getaway for a while so it was much needed.  my sister came in from utah and watched our 4 kids!!  probably ended up being good birth control.  they loved having aunt adrian take care of them.  can't wait for our next adventure!

i heard zip lining there was super awesome, so we looked into it and found out it was way expensive, but we did it anyway and it was SO much fun!  would totally do it again!  and so beautiful!

 here i am coming in on the longest run, it was so much fun!

 we ate our hearts out this whole trip, there was no calorie counting at all!!  haha.  i'll be paying for it later!

 we got a snorkel cruise for going to a 4 hr seminar!  would not recommend being talked into doing one of those!  it took forever!!  but we did get to see some sea turtles and cool fish.  although, i have decided i don't really like to snorkel where i can't touch, it gives me some crazy anxiety.  pathetic i know!

 we went for a drive along the road to hana (not the whole way), but stopped and checked out some cool water falls and stuff :)

 we got attacked by mosquitoes here!  but it was fun to hike around.

 we rented paddle boards one afternoon and you could keep them for 24 hrs, so we decided to go out in the afternoon.  BIG MISTAKE!!  seriously feared for my life i got taken way way out to sea and had NO CONTROL to come back to shore.  brennan was mad and freaking out and i was in tears.  i am not kidding it was really scary.  bren eventually flagged down a fisherman and his son and they came and got me and took me back to shore.  bren didn't get help because he had complete control.  while i was waiting for him to come back to shore i snapped a pic w/ no zoom just to show that i was about double from where brennan was from the shore.  seriously i was near a cruise liner!!  we still did go out the next day and it was awesome, but never go out in the afternoon when the wind has picked up, unless you know what your doing!!

 black rock is a popular place to snorkel and cliff jump and was just down from our resort so we played in the water there a few times

 our friend mandy said that we had to try gazebo.  and boy was it delish!  and check out our view!  would highly recommend and we will def go there again!

 the last day i had to snap pics of our hotel, so this is a view from the beach to the hotel w/ pools in between

 i ran 5 miles every other day and this is the path i would start on.  amazing running along the ocean!
