oh christmas tree

wow i leave the blogging world for 7 months and it's all changed up!!  i was so close to being caught up and then i put myself behind again!!  man if i could just stay on top of it, it would be so easy :).  back in december we went to home depot to pick out our beloved christmas tree!!  i love making a big deal of going to pick the tree, putting the lights on, watching a christmas show and enjoying the tree for at least 3 weeks!  i love all things christmas, it really is the most wonderful time of the year!

gavin decided he wanted to wear big boy undies!  i was freaking out that he was just a couple months over 2 and wanted to be potty trained.  i was hesitant, but decided to go w/ it.  it's been not my fav journey, but it's nice not having 2 kids in diapers and a few accidents here and there are really not that big of a deal!  way to go gav!

it always takes me to a few days to put all the ornaments up, so here is the final product w/ these 4 crazy kids!  love them.
