first rode trip by myself w/ 4 kids

after adrian left, i knew now after help from annette, karen, and adrian i was on my own.  since it was way too hot to be outside and i was going crazy inside we decided to take a road trip to ca.  cash was 3 weeks old and i was up for the challenge.  we got there in 5 1/2 hours and NO stops!  so awesome.  cash had a poopy diaper all up his back and poo on his chin (from carter trying to give him his binky), but nonetheless we made it.  it was nice to have cooler temps and hang w/ fam and friends.

 since gavin is so fearless, i bought this life jacket and he would just jump right in (with or without it on)

 savanna got braver and braver and a week or so after this trip she was a full on swimmer!

 we went to mission lake a couple times and the kids had a blast playing in the water (yes that's gavin way out w/them)

 proof us mom's were there: camille, me, and laura

 always gotta say our goodbyes on our way out at del taco.  the drive home was even smoother than on the way there!  i think i can handle 4 kids!
