fall break in the oc

this whole big kid in big school thing takes a little getting used to!  it's kinda sad that my 5 year old goes to school m-f from 830-305!  his teacher gets to see him more than we do.  we decided to take a much needed trip to the oc for part of break.  the weather was awesome.  we had too much fun as usual and it's always sad to leave, but we'll be back for christmas so yeah!

we have our dland passes, so we went one day and it was seriously the best dland experience.  not too hot, not crowded, no big melt downs, everyone was having fun (even bren)!  thanks blairs, and sumans for joining us!

these 3 little three year olds were so excited to see the princesses and give them all hugs!

we kind of bribed carter to go on splash mountain (w/ a sword we never saw again), but when we went down the big hill carter yelled "that was AWESOME".  so cute.  you can't really tell but it's carter, me, tyler, cameron, bren in the back!  carter is getting so big, he and tyler were even going on a couple rides by themselves!
we went on a date w/ eric and laura (and mere) to chili's and to see social network (good movie).  always fun to have a night out w/o kids!  thanks pops!

my teething monster
cute girlies
how can you not love this little face!
after bren came back to az, me and the kids stayed for a few extra days and savvy joined me in bed at 530 and carter joined in at 7.  both of them ended up taking over the bed and sleeping in past 8!  love these kids!
we had 3 long days of rain and it was nice and all, but how fun is a beautiful beach day!  LOVE hb.  i think a piece of my heart will always be left there.  tear.  totally not kidding either :).

How fun! We never saw that princess place that you took the pics at, I'll have to talk to you the next time we go. I can't believe Gavin is walking! Time flys doesn't it? How's your grandma?
