spring break trip to ca

we just got back from a nice and relaxing trip to ca. since laura and ava came to visit over carter's bday, it was perfect timing to go back w/ her cause carter was on spring break. the first part of the trip it was a bit chilly, so i was a little unmotivated to do much, but the weather perked up a bit and we got more motivated to do stuff. it was fun to visit w/ fam and see some friends. i never get to see everyone. it was a fun trip though and brennan got to come and be w/ us for a day, so we were able to have some fun w/ him as well. looking forward to another trip back out next mo! woop woop.

there is a fun park in costa mesa called tiwinkle park (i believe we played capture the flag a time or two for mutual back in the day). anyway, the kids had a blast and we spent a few hours chasing ducks and playing.

after the park we went to hb and carter and ava were braving the freezing water. carter loves the beach and ocean it's really so cute. savanna on the other hand just wants to leave and be held! hopefully, that will change over the summer! i do have to mention that after a few hours at the park and then a couple hours at the beach laura and i braved taking our kids to ruby's on the pier, which was scary since my kids were kinda crabby and they all were really hungry, but all in all the food was delish and it was good times on the pier.

i put savanna in the sink to give her a quick bath and i left the room for a sec to come back and find carter wanted to take one too! this sink is SO small, but they looked so cute in it together. i really love how much they love eachother!

my good friend sherri just had her baby on the 17th and i was in town to go visit at hoag (where my babies were born also). it was fun to see a little new born. it got me excited to have another little babe. here sherri is w/ her little girl ellie.

this is a random pic, but this girl lives in foothill ranch by my dad's house and just won a $250,000 dollar challenge and she was doing the tkb class i LOVE, so i had to take her pic after the work out. for more details on her journey you can go here to check it.

my cousin dana organized a fun little trip to the skirball museum to see the noah's arc exhibit. it was fun and the kids were pretty entertained, esp when we came outside and they got to run around a bit! thanks dana we had a fun time!
