my friend shannan lives in the west valley (avondale, goodyear area) and she's come out to our neck of the woods a bunch, so it was our turn to go hang out in their area. i've got to say part of me just wanted to continue on to ca, but we stopped and hooked up at the wildlife zoo. i felt like the animals were a bit more caged than the zoo by us, but the BEST part was that we got to feed the birds (that was worth the $ right there). it was awesome you would just hold a piece of apple and they kept a comin! it was great. then it ended up raining cats and dogs, so we left to take the kids to lunch and head back home. it was a fun day! i even got to be selfish that night and go to dinner and a movie w/ some girls in the ward. it was so fun. we saw baby mama too and i was cracking up! funny. i was pleasantly surprised. so yeah for a way fun day!

i know a lot of you out there have already seen it, but for those who haven't i highly recommend! funny!

fun times at the zoo. i love that the kids were brave enough to let the birds eat right out of their hands. wow! you're coming here in like 3 days. can't wait to see you!

I can't believe you and Shannan are both holding a bird. I consider myself an adventurous person but I can't see myself ever doing that! Way to be tough!!
